Bolts in need of “additional tightening” have been found during inspections of Boeing 737 Max 9s, United Airlines has said. United Airlines said “installation issues” relating to door plugs would be “remedied” before the aircraft type would return to service. Inspections began after a section of the fuselage fell from an Alaska Airlines 737 Max 9 on Friday. Alaska Airlines says it has since found “some loose hardware” on some Max 9s. He won the World Cup as captain of West Germany in 1974 and lifted the trophy again as manager in 1990. Technology giant Samsung Electronics says it is likely to see its profits for the last three months of 2023 fall by more than a third. The decline is much worse than analysts expected and comes as global demand for consumer electronics remains weak. A US Navy officer who admitted to providing sensitive military information to China has been jailed for more than two years. Wenheng Zhao, 26, pleaded guilty in October to passing on information to Chinese intelligence for bribes. Mr Zhao was a petty officer working at a California naval base. He passed on information about military exercises, operational orders and critical infrastructure from 2021 to 2023, US officials said. An US spacecraft has launched from Cape Canaveral, Florida, to try to perform a controlled landing on the Moon.
